PROCEDURES FOR REQUESTING VALUATIONS FROM THE AUSTRALIAN VALUATION OFFICE
The following paragraphs are amendments/insertions for page 3 of DI No B21/92.
OVERSEAS VALUATIONS
12.Branch Offices may now forward the appropriate form directly to AVO. The criteria for obtaining an overseas valuation are:
.there is reason to doubt the pensioner's estimate; and
.the pensioner is asset tested; or
.the pensioner is within $10,000 of being asset tested.
13.The form is sent to:

14.There is no performance standard for the provision of overseas valuations. Should the valuation not be returned within 8 weeks, please contact Helen de Gail.
