Management of Claims relating to Sexual or other Forms of Abuse

In 2012, the DLA Piper Review identified specific allegations within the range of 847 different people (sources), who had experienced 'sexual and other abuse – such as bullying, harassment or intimidation' in the Australian Defence Force (ADF) between 1951 and 2011.

In view of the DLA Piper Review and the complex and sensitive nature of sexual and other forms of abuse more generally, these procedures provide R&C delegates with guidance for the management of this class of claims.

These guidelines are contained within the Military Compensation Reference Library.

Go to the “Management of Claims relating to Sexual or other Forms of Abuse” Procedures.
