Preliminary questions 
40411 there is some evidence that inflammatory bowel disease may be a factor in the development of the condition under consideration.
40415 — the veteran has had inflammatory bowel disease at some time.
40416 the veteran had the identified illness or injury, an inflammatory bowel disease, within the 90 days before the clinical onset of the condition under consideration.
40417 — the veteran has established the causal connection between an inflammatory bowel disease and operational service for the clinical onset of deep vein thrombosis.
