Medical Report - Alkaptonuric Arthritis [MR9034] Preliminary questions [8530] 8427 — the veteran has suffered a physical trauma at some time. 8579 — the veteran has established the causal connection between the physical trauma and VEA service for the clinical worsening of alkaptonuria. 8580 — the veteran has established the causal connection between the physical trauma and operational service for the clinical worsening of alkaptonuria. or 8581 — the veteran has established the causal connection between the physical trauma and eligible service for the clinical worsening of alkaptonuria. Clinical worsening and operational service [8580] 8582 — the clinical onset of the veteran's alkaptonuria occurred prior to the physical trauma. [Default true] or 8590 — the identified illness or injury which caused the physical trauma to a joint immediately prior to the manifestation of alkaptonuric arthritis in that joint is causally related to operational service. 8592 — the clinical onset of alkaptonuria occurred prior to that part of operational service to which the identified illness or injury which caused the physical trauma is causally related.
