AMENDMENT TO DEPARTMENTAL INSTRUCTION B68/93 DATED 06/12/93 RELATING TO THE JANUARY QUARTERLY ADVICE MAILOUT
PURPOSE
The purpose of this Departmental Instruction (DI) is to inform you of a necessary amendment to DI B68/93 dated 6 December 1993.
2.The amendment relates to the Telephone Allowance Quarterly Payment which is included in the January mailout. Telecom has announced an increase in telephone rental charges of $1.20 per quarter applicable from 1 January 1994.
3.The quarterly payment to WW1 veterans, beginning with that due on the
6 January 1994, will be affected by the increase in Telecom's rental charge. The rate payable is now $42.50 per quarter as opposed to the previously advised rate of $41.30.
