EXCHANGE RATE ADJUSTMENTS TO BRITISH DISABILITY PENSIONS PAID IN AUSTRALIA

CHANGE TO EXCHANGE RATE

1.British Department of Social Security (BDSS) have varied the exchange rate to be used for payment of British component of disability pensions in Australia.  The exchange rate to be put into effect on payday 30 May 1991 will vary from $A2.48 to $A2.24 to one Pound Sterling.  This exchange rate supersedes the rate stated in Departmental Instruction B20/91.

2.Revised British pension rates charts are at Attachment A.  Please refer to Instruction B20/91 for any other information required for this exercise.
