- The following rules apply to veterans who are 65 years of age or over at the time of application.
- As is the case with veterans under the age of 65, the Work History Test comprises three parts (Alone Test, Prevented Test and Economic Loss Test) and ascertains whether it is the veteran's accepted conditions alone that are the reasons preventing him or her from continuing to undertake remunerative work (last paid work) they were undertaking. The Economic Loss Test requires that, as a result of being prevented from continuing work, they are losing salary, wages or earnings.
