Plantar fasciitis - A systemic arthritic disease for plantar fasciitis Factor

The RMA has determined that only the following systemic arthritic conditions apply to plantar fasciitis:

  • Ankylosing spondylitis
  • Crystal-induced arthropathy
  • Enteropathic spondyloarthropathy
  • Psoriatic arthropathy [commonly known as Psoriatic arthritis]
  • Reactive arthropathy
  • Undifferentiated spondyloarthropathy

A Systemic Arthritic Disease - Plantar Fasciitis
Preliminary questions [30040]

30041 there is some evidence that suffering from a systemic arthritic disease may be a factor in the development or worsening of the condition under consideration.

30042 the veteran has suffered from a systemic arthritic disease for plantar fasciitis at some time.

37766  a systemic arthritic disease for plantar fasciitis means ankylosing spondylitis, crystal-induced arthropathy, enteropathic spondyloarthropathy, psoriatic arthropathy, reactive arthropathy or undifferentiated spondyloarthropathy.

30043  the veteran has established the causal connection between suffering from a systemic arthritic disease and VEA service for plantar fasciitis.

30050   the veteran suffered from the identified illness or injury, a systemic arthritic disease for plantar fasciitis, at the time of the clinical onset of the condition under consideration.

30044   the veteran has established the causal connection between suffering from a systemic arthritic disease and VEA service for the clinical onset of plantar fasciitis.

30046  the veteran has established the causal connection between suffering from a systemic arthritic disease and operational service for the clinical onset of plantar fasciitis.

or

30047  the veteran has established the causal connection between suffering from a systemic arthritic disease and eligible service for the clinical onset of plantar fasciitis.

or

7334     the clinical onset of the condition under consideration occurred after the end of the veteran's last period of VEA service.

7335     the condition under consideration permanently worsened.

30054   the veteran suffered from the identified illness or injury, a systemic arthritic disease for plantar fasciitis, at the time of the clinical worsening of the condition under consideration.

30045   the veteran has established the causal connection between suffering from a systemic arthritic disease and VEA service for the clinical worsening of plantar fasciitis.

30049  the veteran has established the causal connection between suffering from a systemic arthritic disease and operational service for the clinical worsening of plantar fasciitis.

or

30048  the veteran has established the causal connection between suffering from a systemic arthritic disease and eligible service for the clinical worsening of plantar fasciitis.

Clinical onset and operational service [30046]

30051  the identified illness or injury, a systemic arthritic disease for plantar fasciitis, is causally related to operational service.

Clinical onset and eligible service [30047]

30053  the identified illness or injury, a systemic arthritic disease for plantar fasciitis, is causally related to eligible service.

Clinical worsening and operational service [30049]

30051  the identified illness or injury, a systemic arthritic disease for plantar fasciitis, is causally related to operational service.

30052  the clinical onset of the condition under consideration occurred prior to that part of operational service to which the identified illness or injury, a systemic arthritic disease for plantar fasciitis, is causally related.

Clinical worsening and eligible service [30048]

30053  the identified illness or injury, a systemic arthritic disease for plantar fasciitis, is causally related to eligible service.

30055  the clinical onset of the condition under consideration occurred prior to that part of eligible service to which the identified illness or injury, a systemic arthritic disease for plantar fasciitis, is causally related.
