Plantar fasciitis - Inability to obtain appropriate clinical management for plantar fasciitis Factor

Appropriate clinical management for plantar fasciitis is usually conservative.

The following measures may assist the recovery process:

  • Oral analgesics for pain relief
  • Rest by avoiding weight bearing activities
  • Orthotics or insole padding for foot protection
  • Short-wave diathermy to the affected area
  • Gentle therapeutic exercise

If the plantar fasciitis is part of a widespread inflammatory disorder, treatment of the underlying condition.
