there is some evidence that a penetrating trauma to the heart, including surgical trauma, may be a factor in the development of the condition under consideration.36124 the veteran has experienced a penetrating trauma to the heart, including surgical trauma at some time.

Clinical onset and operational service [36126]
the penetrating trauma to the heart which the veteran experienced before the clinical onset of the condition under consideration was caused by an injury.36128 the veteran experienced a penetrating trauma to the heart, through injury, within the two years before the clinical onset of the condition under consideration.
on operational service, the veteran experienced a penetrating trauma to the heart within the two years before the clinical onset of the condition under consideration. the penetrating trauma to the heart on operational service, within the two years before the clinical onset of the condition under consideration, was due to the veteran's serious default, wilful act or serious breach of discipline.or
