Operation Palate – Warlike Service

Service rendered as a member of the ADF assigned for service on or after 18 April 2003 on OPERATION PALATE in the specified area is warlike service for the purposes of subsection 5C(1) of the Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986.

The specified area comprises Afghanistan.

The determination was made by the Minister for Veterans' Affairs for and on behalf of the Minister for Defence on 18 — th June 2003.
