Claimant Report - Exposure to Carbon Disulphide - Parkinson's Disease and Parkinsonism [CR9111]
Preliminary questions [23250]
there is some evidence that exposure to carbon disulphide as specified may be a factor in the development or worsening of the condition under consideration.23297 the veteran has experienced inhalation, ingestion or cutaneous contact with carbon disulphide on at least 250 occasions within a continuous period of five years at some time.
23298 — the veteran has established the causal connection between exposure to carbon disulphide and VEA service for Parkinson's disease or parkinsonism.
the veteran experienced inhalation, ingestion or cutaneous contact with carbon disulphide on at least 250 occasions within a continuous period of five years within the 10 years before the clinical onset of the condition under consideration.23299 — the veteran has established the causal connection between exposure to carbon disulphide and VEA service for the clinical onset of parkinsonism.
23301 — the veteran has established the causal connection between exposure to carbon disulphide and operational service for the clinical onset of parkinsonism.
or
23302 — the veteran has established the causal connection between exposure to carbon disulphide and eligible service for the clinical onset of parkinsonism.
or
the clinical onset of the condition under consideration occurred after the end of the veteran's last period of VEA service. the condition under consideration permanently worsened. the veteran experienced inhalation, ingestion or cutaneous contact with carbon disulphide on at least 250 occasions within a continuous period of five years within the 10 years before the clinical worsening of the condition under consideration.23300 — the veteran has established the causal connection between exposure to carbon disulphide and VEA service for the clinical worsening of Parkinson's disease or parkinsonism.
23303 — the veteran has established the causal connection between exposure to carbon disulphide and operational service for the clinical worsening of Parkinson's disease or parkinsonism.
or
23304 — the veteran has established the causal connection between exposure to carbon disulphide and eligible service for the clinical worsening of Parkinson's disease or parkinsonism.
Clinical onset and operational service [23301]
38596 — the veteran has parkinsonism.
operational service made a material contribution to the veteran's inhalation, ingestion or cutaneous contact with carbon disulphide on at least 250 occasions within a continuous period of five years within the 10 years before the clinical onset of the condition under consideration.Clinical onset and eligible service [23302]
38596 — the veteran has parkinsonism.
eligible service made a material contribution to the veteran's inhalation, ingestion or cutaneous contact with carbon disulphide on at least 250 occasions within a continuous period of five years within the 10 years before the clinical onset of the condition under consideration.Clinical worsening and operational service [23303]
operational service made a material contribution to the veteran's inhalation, ingestion or cutaneous contact with carbon disulphide on at least 250 occasions within a continuous period of five years within the 10 years before the clinical worsening of the condition under consideration. the clinical onset of the condition under consideration occurred before the veteran's inhalation, ingestion or cutaneous contact with carbon disulphide on at least 250 occasions within a continuous period of five years, to which operational service materially contributed.Clinical worsening and eligible service [23304]
eligible service made a material contribution to the veteran's inhalation, ingestion or cutaneous contact with carbon disulphide on at least 250 occasions within a continuous period of five years within the 10 years before the clinical worsening of the condition under consideration. the clinical onset of the condition under consideration occurred before the veteran's inhalation, ingestion or cutaneous contact with carbon disulphide on at least 250 occasions within a continuous period of five years, to which eligible service materially contributed.
