8.3.3 Centrelink customer granted DVA service pension

8.3.3.1 — Where a Centrelink customer is granted a service pension (SP) or age pension (AP) by DVA, the Centrelink payment ceases to be payable from the date of grant of the DVA income support pension. DVA is requested to recover the excess amount from the arrears of SP or AP payable to the pensioner using Form SA131. In the case of service pension the debt is recoverable by DVA on behalf of Centrelink under subsection 205(2) VEA.
