Collagen vascular disease with renal involvement

The Repatriation Medical Authority (RMA) states "Collagen vascular disease means an autoimmune disorder which causes vasculitis.

This group of conditions includes diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic sclerosis (scleroderma), polyarteritis nodosa, and giant-cell arteritis, although there are many more.

Symptoms are many and varied.  However, if a veteran or member had any of these conditions he or she would have needed significant medical attention at some time.  Such medical treatment would normally be recorded in doctors' notes and/or hospital records.
