Preliminary questions [37648]
there is some evidence that anticoagulant treatment may be a factor in the worsening of the condition under consideration.7334 the clinical onset of the condition under consideration occurred after the end of the veteran's last period of VEA service.
the condition under consideration permanently worsened. the veteran has been treated with an anticoagulant at some time. the veteran was treated with an anticoagulant for an illness or injury which is identifiable.37652 — the veteran has established the causal connection between anticoagulant treatment and VEA service for the clinical worsening of gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer.
37654 — the veteran has established the causal connection between anticoagulant treatment and eligible service for the clinical worsening of gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer.
or
37653 — the veteran has established the causal connection between anticoagulant treatment and operational service for the clinical worsening of gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer.
Clinical worsening and operational service [37653]
for the identified illness or injury, the veteran was treated with an anticoagulant within the seven days before the clinical worsening of the condition under consideration.37659 — the identified illness or injury, for which the veteran was treated with an anticoagulant, is causally related to operational service.
the clinical onset of the condition under consideration occurred prior to that part of operational service to which the identified illness or injury, for which the veteran was treated with an anticoagulant, is causally related.Clinical worsening and eligible service [37654]
for the identified illness or injury, the veteran was treated with an anticoagulant at the time of the clinical worsening of the condition under consideration.37660 — the identified illness or injury, for which the veteran was treated with an anticoagulant, is causally related to eligible service.
