">COMPENSATION BENEFITS 1 - JULY 1991 INCREASE / SUPERANNUATION ACT 1976 - 28 JULY 1991 INCREASE
">1. Enclosed is a copy of Comcare Operational Advice No.106 and 107 which advise of the 4.9% increase in the Government funded portion of Superannuation pensions, effective from 28 June 1991, and the increase in compensation benefits from 1 July 1991, respectively. The increase in Superannuation applies equally to pensions being paid under the DFRDB Scheme.
2. Please ensure that all weekly compensation benefits affected by the above increases are adjusted as soon as possible in order that claimants are paid their correct weekly entitlement and the potential for large overpayments in those entitlements is decreased.
