Cervical spondylosis - Inflammatory joint disease Factor

The RMA has defined inflammatory joint disease to mean:

  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Reiter's syndrome
  • Psoriatic arthropathy
  • Ankylosing spondylitis
  • Arthritis associated with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis

Conditions such as chondromalacia patellae, Paget's disease, osteoporosis, meniscal or ligament damage are not inflammatory joint disease.

8657     there is some evidence that an inflammatory joint disease may be a factor in the development or worsening of the condition under consideration.
