Delegates have a responsibility to consider evidence of any personal care services provided by other organisations or programs and ensure there is no doubling up of personal care service provision.
Clients with complex care needs may also be receiving ongoing nursing care services through the Community Nursing Program, in addition to attendant care services. In this circumstance, consideration must be given to the extent to which medical or nursing care received by the person will provide for their essential and regular personal care needs.
