Page two indicates which line items are being recovered.  As the example demonstrates, this information is display only and cannot be altered.  PRACSYS has identified the:

  • affected determination;

  • amount of the determination;

  • amount to be recovered;

and has linked the determination as a relevant line item to the recovery account.

The automatic process is correct and cannot be altered or deleted.

NB  The incapacity determination must be altered before a date of death is entered against the employee record.  PRACSYS will not allow determinations to exceed the date of death.

In this regard, it is essential that the date of death be recorded as the last day of the relevant payment period.  If this is not done, and the true date of death is recorded, Comcare's policy of not recovering monies paid in the fortnight the employee died cannot be carried through.
