There are several types of claims, which can be lodged. These claim types are:
- Qualifying service
- Age service pension
- Invalidity service pension
- Partner service pension
- Income support supplement
- Disability Compensation Payment
- Application for increase in Disability Compensation Payment
- War widow's/widower's pension
- Orphan's pension
