The main provisions of relevant period have already been discussed above. It has been established that the relevant period can be adjusted to ensure that an employee does not receive any more or any less than his or her correct NWE entitlement.
So what then happens if an employee was absent during the relevant period, or there has been a pay variation so that using the full period of time would not provide an accurate reflection of an employee's normal weekly earnings?
