Where the employee is entitled to a pension, the information may be supplied as an annual and weekly figure, or just an annual figure. To calculate a weekly incapacity entitlement, all annual figures must be converted to weekly figures.
The Superannuation Acts 1976 and 1990, and the Defence Force Retirement and Death Benefits Act 1973 (DFRDB Act) both apply as 'superannuation schemes', but provide differing provisions for the calculation of the weekly pension.
