The Contraction Of A Gazetted Disease

If an employee lodges a claim, and his or her occupation and the disease being claimed are listed under both the occupation and the related disease in the gazette, compensation will usually be payable.

However, the disease under claim must be for the contraction of a disease and not its aggravation.  This subsection only relates to the contraction of a disease.
