SUPERANNUATION PENSION INCREASE

Purpose

1.The purpose of this MCRI is to provide advice rega — rding the increase to Commonwealth Superannuation pensions.

Policy

2.Advice has been received from ComSuper which indicates that both DRFDB and MSBS pension b — enefits will be increased by 1.4 per cent and that the increase will actually be effected on pension payday

6 J — uly 2006.

3.Would all M — ilitary Compensation Managers and claims management staff who are responsible for determining weekly incapacity entitlements under the SRC Act please ensure that cases affected by this increase are adjusted accordingly as soon as possible.
