There are many things in Account Management that may sound a bit strange when dealing solely with claims related work. However, once Account Management has been explained, it can be demonstrated that this area is integral to claim management.
In the same way as we each may pay premiums to 'protect' our interests in property, future and the family, customers pay a premium to Comcare to look after their compensation claims.
Working through the terminology listed on the next few pages, it will become apparent that Comcare's customers, just like the general public with private insurance, require policies, pay premiums and expect and receive a high level of service, commensurate with their expectations.
