1.6 Rehabilitation policy development

Policy development for rehabilitation activities covered under the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004 (MRCA) rests with the Rehabilitation Policy Section of the Department’s Benefits Policy Branch. 

The Rehabilitation Policy Section guides the development of rehabilitation policies across DVA, to improve the coordination and integration with existing services. Rehabilitation policy is charged with coordinating the whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation adopted under DVA legislation.
