This question is testing entitlement to compensation for loss of hearing as a result of exposure to workplace noise in accordance with special policy rules which allow a 1988 hearing claim to be treated under the 1971 Act.
The percentage of binaural hearing loss entered is also be used in the calculation for entitlement to compensation for non-economic loss under s 27 of the SRC Act. Note that the percentage of binaural hearing loss is required to be entered here, not WPI.
