Relevance of this question

In this question the assessor is asked to nominate the previous compensable percentage degree of Whole Person Impairment (WPI) for the particular impairment currently under investigation.

The previous compensable percentage degree of WPI (or the previous CWPI if there is more than one impairment) is used by the Permanent Impairment Calculator to calculate the total deterioration in whole person impairment.

If NEL under s 27 for a 1971 Act or a 1930 Act impairment was not paid in the previous assessment, the previous WPI should be entered as NIL
