Weekly salary from Reserve employment

There are several methods for determining the appropriate weekly salary from Reserve employment for the purposes of the Incapacity Calculator:

  1. Daily Reserve rate x 7
  2. Long-term incapacity - current year of service
  3. Long-term incapacity - history of service
  4. Short-term incapacity
  5.            Full-time rate

These methods are discussed below and in DCI 6.

Note that the Incapacity Calculator separately asks for the weekly amounts of allowances (civilian and Reserve) and the weekly salary from civilian employment.
