This question is relevant to whether a person aged between 16 and 24 (inclusive) is a “prescribed child” as defined in s 4(1) of the SRC Act. To qualify, the child must be:
(ii)receiving full-time education at a school, college, university or other educational institution; and
(iii)not ordinarily in employment or engaged in work on his or her own account.
The definition of prescribed child is relevant, inter alia, to calculation of “minimum earnings” in s 19.
