Rate of payment during the 104 week period

Incapacity compensation during the 104 week period is calculated in the usual way, ie it is based on NWE during the first 45 weeks (“maximum rate compensation weeks”) and at a reduced rate (“reduced rate compensation entitlement”) between week 46 and week 104.  The step up provisions in s 19(3) apply in the usual way.
