Reasons for reassessment
An existing assessment may be reassessed if the pensioner's assessable income, assets, residential or family situation change, or due to a change in legislation. The reason for the reassessment will determine the reassessment type that needs to be completed by creating a new worksheet in PIPS or registering a new case for the classification type in CMS.
Types of reassessment
The following types of reassessments are used as case registrations in the Claims Management System (CMS).
