CMVS stands for 'Choice and Maintainability in Veterans' Services'.
Its purpose was to provide serving members and their families with more choice, control and convenience in how they access their DVA information. They can look up their records and conduct DVA business online at any time and place that suits them.
I want to express my appreciation to all those involved with CMVS releases delivered every six months since 2011.
Through delivery of online services, CMVS has strategically positioned DVA to be well-placed for the Government’s digital transformation journey. This included being an early participant with myGov authentication.
Defence and service record requests
Defence service and medical records are requested to assist the processing of claims. Delegates use these records to assess and identify any connection of the claimed condition to ADF service.
