7.5.1 Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation clearances with Special Rate of Disability Pension

When actioning a Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation (CSC) requested clearance arrears or reclassification, the Special Rate of Disability Pension (SRDP) team must advise the assigned incapacity team where there is SRDP interest and if a request for super clearance is required.

Procedural, Planning and Assurance will screen incoming CSC requests and identify in VIEW where SRDP involvement exists. This includes current or prior eligibility and outstanding SRDP cases.

4.4.1 Receiving and actioning CSA advices

In the first instance, CSA advices are emailed directly to the client's relevant state office. These advices are then scanned and stored in HP Content Manager under the client's UIN. The new information received will be flagged on the client's claim dashboard (or a delegate's My Work tab) in R&C ISH. If there are no active claims for the client an email will be sent to the appropriate team mailbox advising receipt of the advice and its location.
