Typically, a represented client will either complete the form together with the representative or the representative will complete the form on behalf of the client.

Where the nature of the representative permissions are unclear, delegates should discuss this with the nominated representative and ask them to provide clarification.

Manually transferring claim forms to Defence

The following steps provide instructions for manually transferring claim forms to Defence through the r-drive where the claim has been processed in a legacy system. Delegates only need to complete Steps 1 and 2.

Step 1: Lodgement of Forms

For claim forms that are lodged via the Online Claim Lodgement, open the claim form (which should be located in the client's UIN HP Content Manager container), click “File”, “Save a Copy”, then go to Step 2.
