A Defence service record provides a documentary history of the client’s activities and accomplishments while serving as a member of the Australian Defence Force (ADF). The document is normally electronic, but may be handwritten if the period of service pre-dates the use of computers.
Delegates can initiate a request for Defence-held service and health records via the following pathways:
DDEIE and RMS requests are lodged via Process Direct Request Management System (PD RMS).
Defence Data Electronic Information Exchange (DDEIE)
DDEIE allows for real-time data to be exchanged for certain records.
