This Determination is the Veterans' Entitlements (Warlike Service –NATO no-fly-zone and maritime enforcement operation against Libya) Determination 2012.
2Commencement
This Determination commences on the day after it is registered.

3Definition
In this Determination:
ADF means the Australian Defence Force.
NATO means North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
4Warlike service
For subsection 5C (1) of the Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986, service in an operation mentioned in Schedule 1 is warlike service if the service:
(a) is in an area of operation mentioned in Schedule 1; and
(b) occurs:
i. during a period mentioned in Schedule 1, or
ii. on and from the start date mentioned in Schedule 1.
