Schedule 2 Item 7
1.This Instrument is issued by the Defence Force under subsection 5B(2) of the Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986 (“the Act”) for use by the Repatriation Commission in determining a person's eligibility for entitlements under the Act.
2.The Instrument for determining eligibility under the Act that was made by Rear Admiral James Goldrick, AM CSC RAN, Acting Vice Chief of the Defence Force, on 7 September 2010 in relation to units of the Defence Force allotted for duty in the operational area described in Item 7 of Column 1 of Schedule 2 of the Act is revoked with effect 1 January 2001 and is not to be taken to have any legal effect or operation in relation to the making of any decision under the Act on or after 1 January 2001.
3.Each unit or part of a unit of the Defence Force identified in the Schedule below was allotted for duty in the operational area described in Item 7 of Column 1 of Schedule 2 of the Act for the period specified in Column 2 of the Schedule opposite the unit.
