1.This Instrument is issued by the Defence Force under subsection 5B(2) of the Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986 (“the Act”) for use by the Repatriation Commissi — on in d — etermining a person's eligibility for entitlements under the Act.
2.The I — nstrument for determining eli — gibility under the Act that was made by Rear Admiral James Gol — drick, AM CSC RAN, Acting Vice Chief of the Defence Force, on 7 September 2010 in relation to units of the Defence Force allotted for duty in the operation — al area described in Item 7 of C — olum — n 1 of Schedule 2 of the Act is revoked wi — th effect 1 January 2001 and is not to be taken to have any legal effect or operation in relation to th — e making of any decision under the Act on or after 1 January 2001.
