Under the Veterans' Entitlements Act, means treatment provided, or action taken, with a view to -

(a)restoring a person to, or maintaining a person in, physical or mental health;

(b)alleviating a person's suffering; or

(c)ensuring a person's social well-being,

through: -

(i)provision of accommodation, medical procedures, nursing care, social or domestic assistance or transport;

(ii)supply, renewal, maintenance and repair of artificial limbs and surgical and rehabilitation appliances; and

(iii)provision of diagnostic and counselling services;

for the purposes of, or in connection with, any such treatment or action.
