Revocation – 01 & 02 of '10 Replaces 76 and 77 of '99 |
- There are changes to the definition, with a decrease in the required frequency of headaches, a recasting of the associated characteristics and some additional excluded conditions.
- There is a new onset factor (RH & BOP) that covers the development of tension-type analgesic rebound headaches in sufferers of migraine and cluster headache.
- There are two new worsening factors (RH & BOP) concerning medication taken for other conditions.

Revocation – 03 & 04 of '10 Replaces 342 and 343 of '95 |
- This SOP has been updated to comply with the Legislative Instruments Act.
- The SOP covers both type-1 and type-2 Herpes simplex and, unusually, can be applied twice if a person has both types of infection.
- A range of new onset factors (RH & BOP) have been added. These cover events that can trigger an initial clinical episode in someone with previously acquired but asymptomatic infection. Those factors concern: burns; being immunosuppressed; specific types of surgery; sunburn; and pregnancy.
- Further worsening factors have been added for the specific types of surgery and pregnancy. The previous worsening factors for burns; being immunocompromised and UV exposure have been updated.

- This SOP has been updated to comply with the Legislative Instruments Act.
- The definition has been reworded, with no change to SOP coverage.
- The previous onset factors covering various modes of transmission have been consolidated into one simplified factor.
- There are new worsening factors (RH only) for having malaria or TB.
