RELEASE NOTES - CCPS VERSION 2008/10
Version 2008/10 of the Medical Knowledge Base for CCPS was released into production today. This Bulletin provides a summary of the amended SOPs that this version of CCPS incorporates.

New SOPs incorporated into CCPS
Th — e factor to use in this SOP is Prolonged sunlight exposure to the unprotected eye.

SOP amendments incorporated into CCPS
- All the causal factors are specific to certain types of bipolar disorder. The ICD code that is entered when diagnosing the claim in CCPS will enable/disable the rules for factors as appropriate to that type of bipolar disorder.
- There are no investigatory questionnaires attached to this (nor any other) psychiatric condition because the psychiatrist's report that conforms with the Repatriation Commission Guidelines for Psychiatric Compensation Claims will cover relevant history.

Mesothelioma
- Th — e RH & BOP SOP — s have different requirements for inhaling asbestos and the BOP SOP has separate factors relating to inhalation of asbestos fibres in an enclosed space as opposed to an open environment. All these SOP factors are dealt with under the one CCPS contention Inhaling asbestos fibres.
