2355 [2] the veteran has had a blood transfusion at some time. the veteran has had a blood transfusion that was not screened for hepatitis B at some time. 12020 — the veteran has established the causal connection between the blood transfusion and VEA service for the clinical onset of hepatitis B. Clinical onset and operational service [12020] 29488 — the veteran has established the causal connection between the blood transfusion and VEA service for recent infection with hepatitis B. 28550 — the veteran has established the causal connection between a blood transfusion on service and operational service for recent infection with hepatitis B. or 28558 — the veteran has established the causal connection between a blood transfusion on service and eligible service for recent infection with hepatitis B. 29500 — the blood transfusion that was not screened for hepatitis B that the veteran had on eligible service within the six months immediately before the evidence of recent infection with the condition under consideration satisfies the requirements of the balance of probabilities Statements of Principles for hepatitis B. [10]
or
29509 [12] the veteran has another significant risk factor for the condition under consideration other than the unscreened blood transfusion on eligible service within the six months immediately before the evidence of recent infection with condition under consideration.
29615 [13] the blood transfusion that was not screened for hepatitis B that the veteran had on eligible service within the six months immediately before the evidence of recent infection with the condition under consideration was due to the veteran's serious default, wilful act or serious breach of discipline. or 28551 — the veteran has established the causal connection between a blood transfusion for treatment of an illness or injury and operational service for recent infection with hepatitis B. 29497 — the veteran had a blood transfusion that was not screened for hepatitis B for treatment of an illness or injury which is identifiable. 29498 — the identified illness or injury for which the unscreened blood transfusion was given is causally related to operational service. [14] [15] or 28559 — the veteran has established the causal connection between a blood transfusion for treatment of an illness or injury and eligible service for recent infection with hepatitis B. 29506 — the identified illness or injury for which the unscreened blood transfusion was given is causally related to eligible service. [16] [15] 29505 — the blood transfusion that was not screened for hepatitis B that the veteran had for treatment of the identified illness or injury within the six months immediately before the evidence of recent infection with the condition under consideration satisfies the requirements of the balance of probabilities Statements of Principles for hepatitis B. [17]
or
29513 [19] the veteran has another significant risk factor for the condition under consideration other than the unscreened blood transfusion for treatment of the identified illness or injury within the six months immediately before the evidence of recent infection with condition under consideration.

12025 [20] there is evidence of non-recent infection with the condition under consideration. the veteran had a blood transfusion that was not screened for hepatitis B more than four months before the evidence of non-recent infection with the condition under consideration. 29490 — the veteran has established the causal connection between the blood transfusion and VEA service for non-recent infection with hepatitis B. 29491 — the veteran has established the causal connection between a blood transfusion on service and operational service for non-recent infection with hepatitis B. or 29492 — the veteran has established the causal connection between a blood transfusion on service and eligible service for non-recent infection with hepatitis B. 29503 — the blood transfusion that was not screened for hepatitis B that the veteran had on eligible service more than four months before the evidence of non-recent infection with the condition under consideration satisfies the requirements of the balance of probabilities Statements of Principles for hepatitis B. [25]
or
29511 [27] the veteran has another significant risk factor for the condition under consideration other than the unscreened blood transfusion on eligible service more than four months before the evidence of non-recent infection with condition under consideration.
29504 [13] the blood transfusion that was not screened for hepatitis B that the veteran had on eligible service more than four months before the evidence of non-recent infection with the condition under consideration was due to the veteran's serious default, wilful act or serious breach of discipline. or 29494 — the veteran has established the causal connection between a blood transfusion for treatment of an illness or injury and operational service for non-recent infection with hepatitis B. or 29493 — the veteran has established the causal connection between a blood transfusion for treatment of an illness or injury and eligible service for non-recent infection with hepatitis B. 29507 — the blood transfusion that was not screened for hepatitis B that the veteran had for treatment of the identified illness or injury more than four months before the evidence of non-recent infection with the condition under consideration satisfies the requirements of the balance of probabilities Statements of Principles for hepatitis B. [28]
