2 Sources of other Compensation
- 2.1 Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (SRCA) Benefits

The following SRCA benefits meet the definition of Compensation for offsetting purposes under the VEA:
- Lump sum permanent impairment payments - sections 24, 25 & 27 of the SRCA;
- Incapacity payments, calculated on a weekly basis and paid fortnightly under - sections 19, 20, 21, 21A, 22, 23, 31, 37(5), 131, 132 & 134 of the SRCA. Incapacity payments for Loss of Allowances, eg sea going allowance, Timor allowance etc, are treated the same as other incapacity payments.
