This is a common condition that involves entrapment or compression of the ulnar nerve at the inside of the elbow.
Diagnosis is based on clinical findings and electrophysiological testing.

The condition typically presents with numbness and tingling in the fourth and fifth fingers on the affected side, along with medial elbow pain, numbness and paresthesia at night, and worsening of symptoms with repeated elbow flexion. Clinical onset will be when these symptoms first began.
The clinical course is variable. The condition may remain stable or improve with conservative measures. Surgical treatment may be required.
