Reasonable Hypothesis SOP - revocation [1] | 49 of 2007 |
Balance of Probabilities SOP - revocation [2] | 50 of 2007 |
The RMA has revoked and not replaced the previously issued SOPs for congenital cataract, with effect from 1 June 2015. Following an investigation, the RMA has concluded that congenital cataract cannot be related to service.
The RMA Declaration [3] and Reasons for Decision [4]are available on the RMA Internet Site [5]. As a consequence of this decision by the RMA, under the VEA and the MRCA, congenital cataract cannot be accepted as service-related.
