Invite the claimant and/or their representative to submit more detail of the traumatic event and/or evidence that it did occur; for example, dates and times, details of the activity during which the stressor occurred, other witnesses present, the names of NCOs or officers (regardless of whether an incident was formally reported), and any statement why an incident may not have been officially reported.

If further information or clarification is required, the claimant and/or their representative should be informed that a research report will be sought.
