DVA can only pay child care support under the Package to approved child care providers who meet relevant Commonwealth and state and territory standards.  These include providers:

• covered under the A New Tax System (Family Assistance) (Administration) Act 1999
• registered under the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013.

Other providers of services under the Package must be registered businesses and meet relevant industry standards including having Working with Children Checks where providing services to or around children.  More information is provided at the individual sections dealing with the scope of services available under the Package.
