31855 — the veteran has established the causal connection between undergoing a course of the combined oral contraceptive pill or a progesterone oral contraceptive pill and VEA service for the clinical onset of gingivitis.
31869 — the veteran has established the causal connection between undergoing a course of the combined oral contraceptive pill or a progesterone contraceptive pill and operational service for the clinical onset of gingivitis.

as a causal result of eligible service, the veteran underwent a course of the combined oral contraceptive pill or a progesterone oral contraceptive pill for a period of at least the four weeks before the clinical onset of the condition under consideration.or
