Benign neoplasms of the bone include osteoma, osteoid osteoma, osteoblastoma, chondroma, osteochondroma, benign chondroblastoma, chondromyxoid fibroma, and benign giant cell tumour.
The neoplasm is usually asymptomatic until large enough to cause pain. The condition is diagnosed using X-rays or scans. If necessary the tumour is excised through surgery.
